Welcome to the John Paterson PTO!The John Paterson Parent Teacher Organization is a group of interested parents and teachers who work together to provide educational opportunities above and beyond what is funded by the Board of Education budget. The PTO sponsors fundraisers throughout the school year to help pay for cultural arts programs, playscape maintenance, 4th grade yearbook, refreshments for Grandparents/Special Friends Week, and other special activities and/or requests from teachers and principal. The membership fee to join the PTO is $5.00 per family. The meetings of are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month. Attendance is welcomed and enthusiastically encouraged however not mandatory when you join. We would love for you to attend and look forward to seeing you at a meeting. We encourage your support! Meeting Dates: (please note that all meetings are held in the Media Room at 7pm) January 8th - Board of Ed Mr. Carson to present update on Field House project February 5th - Dr. Schumann, Asst Superintendent of Schools to present forecasted Board of Ed budget for 2008-2009 March 4th April 1st - Board of Education to discuss possible school uniforms. Nominating committee to form and organize candidates for next year's PTO officers May 6th - Voting for 2008-2009 PTO officers June 3rd - New officers to run meeting Meet our officers
